WHAT TO EXPECT
Your Treatment Journey
1. Pre-Screening
Call or text us if you think you might qualify for our course. Tell us about your needs, and we will decide together whether to move forward with an in-person screening.
2. In-Person Screening
This is done at Harmony Implants. Your medical and dental history will be assessed, followed by a brief exam with 3-D imaging at no charge. You will then learn if you qualify for the course.
3. Surgery Day
Your surgery is performed during one of our training courses, usually on a Friday or Saturday, in the Oral Surgery Clinic at Roseman University.
4. Post-Op Visit
This visit takes place at Harmony Implants 2–3 weeks after surgery. Sutures are removed at this appointment.
5. Prosthetic Care
About four months after surgery, an abutment and crown are placed on your implant. This process usually takes 2–3 visits. We are happy to provide these services at Harmony Implants at a dramatically reduced cost.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Who places my implants? Are they dental students?
You are treated by licensed dentists — not dental students — at our courses. These doctors travel from around the country to receive advanced implant training under Dr. Hillam’s supervision.
What if I need several implants?
Yes, multiple implants are welcome. At recent courses, several patients received three implants, and one patient received four implants during a single appointment — representing an $8,000–$10,000 value in typical private practice fees.
What kind of implants are used?
You will receive Blue Sky Bio implants, which are reputable, widely used, and known for high success rates. Our success rates are even higher than national averages. Widely used implant systems also make future care easier at other dental offices.
Will my appointment take longer?
Appointments may take slightly longer in an educational setting, but your care is still provided by licensed dentists and is comparable in length to private practice visits.
What if I don’t qualify for the course?
Harmony Implants can still provide treatment — including bone grafting or sinus lifting — at unusually low cost if you do not qualify for course-based treatment.
Is the final tooth free?
Only the surgical implant placement is free. The abutment and crown are provided at a reduced cost.
Can you help me qualify if I need extra treatment first?
In most cases, yes. For example, we can often perform your extractions and bone grafting prior to implant placement.
Do you offer full-mouth implant treatment?
Generally, Harmony Implants treats partially edentulous patients rather than full-mouth implant cases. Exceptions may be discussed individually.
Can you check all my dental needs at the in-person screening appointment?
No — and this is a great question, since your overall dental health is very important to us. Screenings are limited in scope and are not comprehensive dental exams.
Am I guaranteed treatment if I qualify?
Qualification does not guarantee treatment. Patients are matched to course needs, and backup patient lists are maintained. We are always happy to discuss your likelihood of placement candidly.
